Welcome to my "Other Worldly Photos." Page One

First, a little about me. Ever since I was about 10 years old I have been fascinated with cameras. I was in my 20s when I got my first real camera. It was a Canon A-1 and I still have it although it is about worn out. I was not satisfied with just taking pictures. I had to know all the ins and outs. I keep a journal on every picture I took so that I could go back and look what I did to get the results. It was so fascinating to me. Years later my job required me to go digital. I was reluctant because by that time I also had 2 more 35mm cameras. I used it mostly for work but then I realized I could take hundreds of pictures and only have the ones printed that I wanted. In April 2005 I bought my Daughter and a friend of ours a point and shoot digital. One evening my friend called and said something was wrong with his camera. He said he would take a picture and there would be spots all over them and them the next one would not. I knew exactly what it was because just a few days before that I had been watching Sylvia Brown on The Montel Show and she had talked about orbs. He wanted to know if I had ever got any photos like that. I could not think of any, but then again I was one that hardly ever used the flash on my camera. I always had held it or used a tripod. This intrigued me to do some of my own. So my journey begins. My Father passed away on June 1, 2006. Since then I have not taken a lot of pictures. I don't know if his passing had anything to do with my downtime, but it is time to move ahead. Today is March 3, 2008 and I have decided to redo this part of my website because of some pictures that I took on March 1, 2008. These pictures are not meant to change anyone's mind one way or another. I only offer these anomalies to you here in the spirit of seeing things about you that we often take for granted. Why not look at your pictures and see what may be hidden there, pushed aside because you didn't see or understand, regarded for a moment as a developing error or just weird. Maybe they are just some weird event that we can't understand or maybe you think they are nothing at all, it's all up to you. I just offer them to you here to look at and decide for yourself. These photos are from my personal collection. Please do not copy my photos. You may email a link of my web site.

I am going to post these photos as Series. When taking photos like this I usually take them in a series of three to have another photo to compare with in case there may be something that light reflects off of that I did not see before I took the photos.

Series One - These photos were taken about 8:30 in the evening on June 1, 2005. I went to one of my favorite places to take sunset photos. When I downloaded the photos this was my surprise. This was just before dark and no flash was used. It was cloudy but no rain. As you can see in the second photo it is gone. (2 photos)

Series Two - These photos were taken about 9:00 in the evening on June 12, 2005. I went for a ride just taking all kinds of photos. There was an awful storm moving in. (5 photos)

Series Three - The first three photos were taken around 9:30 pm on June 23, 2005. I was taking photos of the deer to see if any of them had horns yet. To my surprise the third photo in this series has a large orb in it. This just made me want to take more photos. The second set was taken around 11:00 pm. The first one of the next three has a large orb but not in the others. This is only 6 of the 300 plus photos that I took that night. Many of them had smaller orbs in them. (6 photos)

Series Four - These photos were taken about 9:30 in the evening on June 24, 2005. On this evening my friend that got me interested in the paranormal and I went out to take photos. In this series you can see a large orb in the 1st and 3rd photo but not in the 2nd photo. We took many photos this evening but these were the best. (3 photos)

Series Five - These photos were taken about 3:30 in the morning on June 26, 2005. Sometimes I just get a feeling to take photos. These were taken in my yard. In this series the first 2 photos had no orbs but the third one had a large orb. (3 photos)

Series Six - This series was taken between 11 pm and 12 on June 27,2005. I will say it was raining and I have taken lots of pictures in the rain and have never seen anything like this. The 1st six of these photos were taken from the back of my house and the last five were taken from the front of my house. On the last three photos notice how hard it was raining but look just above the light on the corner. The red object seems to take on a different form in each photo. (11 photos)

Series Seven - This series was taken about 11:30 pm on June 28,2005. Just taking photos from my front porch. (3 photos)

Series Eight - This series was taken around 9 pm on June 29, 2005. On my way home and just had a need to stop and take pictures of this old barn. (3 photos)

Series Nine - This series was taken about 8:30 in the evening on June 30, 2005 at my sister's house. Just had this notion to take a few photos. (3 photos)

Series Ten - This series was taken around 7:15 in the evening on July 3, 2005. This was a couple of hours before dark. (3 photos)

Series Eleven - This series was taken around 11 pm on July 16, 2005. I was taking all kind of pictures and all of a sudden no more on my memory card. The last photo in the series really shocked me. The photos look real foggy even though there was no visible fog that night. (4 photos)

Series Twelve - This series was taken on July 17, 2005. The first 3 were take around 2:30 in the morning and the last 3 were taken around 6 am. In the first three look at the blue rectangle. (6 photos)

Series Thirteen - This series was taken around 1 am on July 21, 2005. I talked my husband into riding around with me while I took photos. We stopped in front of this old house and barn. As he started to pull off from the barn I snapped the last photo in this series. How strange is this. The power lines are on the opposite side of the rode. (7 photos)

Series Fourteen - This series was taken around 8:30 in the evening on July 25, 2005. I was on my way back from seeing my cousin that I had not seen in a long time. (6 photos)

Series Fifteen - This series was taken around 6:30 in the evening on August 4, 2005. There are 3 different things in these photos. At the top of the front of the building, to the right of the window on the right of the door and then to the right of the building. (3 photos)

Series Sixteen - This series was taken about 5 in the morning on August 15, 2005. I was on my way to take sunrise photos. Imagine my shock when I downloaded these. (7 photos)

Series Seventeen - This series was taken around 8:30 in the evening on August 18, 2005. It had rained earlier in the evening. I just noticed how red the sky was. I had never seen it like this at my house. It was awesome, photos more awesome. Can't explain it, but makes good conversation. (15 photos)

Series Eighteen - This series was taken around 8:30 in the evening on August 27, 2005. I love this old house and barn. (6 photos)

Series Nineteen - This series was Halloween 2005. We got a few good photos, but just mostly scared each other. (9 photos)

Series Twenty - This series was taken late in the evening on May 4, 2006. It is the entrance to an old hotel. (3 photos)
